What is ORPS 22?

The Outlaw Rimfire Precision Series (ORPS22) is a dynamic precision rifle shooting discipline that challenges competitors to engage steel targets at varying distances using .22LR rifles.

Inspired by centerfire precision rifle competitions, ORPS22 combines accuracy, time management, and positional shooting in a practical, field-style environment. Shooters must navigate stages that require them to engage targets from a variety of props and shooting positions under time pressure.

What Makes ORPS22 Unique?

ORPS22 stands out by blending precision shooting with real-world problem-solving.

Competitors may encounter:

• – Targets at varying and often unknown distances.
• – Time-limited stages that require planning and efficiency.
• – Use of barricades, props, and improvised shooting positions.
• – Emphasis on consistency and shot placement

No two stages are ever the same — keeping matches challenging and engaging for all skill levels.
