STOP THE PRESSES… NO NO… START THE PRESSES.
SUNDRIDGE, ON Jim Newman is thrilled to announce that his book That Dog Don’t Hunt, is headed for the printers and will soon be available online and at a local retailer near you.
In addition to the publishers national marketing campaign Jim is managing a comprehensive local marketing initiative, with local print, radio, social media advertising, book fairs and book signings.
“The book is collection of my columns From the Hunt Camp Porch in The Nipissing Reader in North Bay. I had numerous requests for reprints of the articles and to publish them as a book. I thought I should start the marketing building on that support and readership.” He stated.
Jim Newman, a natural born story-teller, takes the reader through joyful and humorous stories about life at the hunt camp, hunting culture, and the joys of nature and wildlife. The stories are a mix of childhood memories, folklore, facts, fiction, and laughter. The emphasis is on enjoying the beauty of nature in the company of family and good friends. The stories are very human, with lots of self-deprecating (sometimes laugh-out-loud) humour throughout.
